17But the foolishness from creation is first of all impure (defiled); then it is war-loving, discourteous (inconsiderate, rough). It is willing to resist reason, full of gruffness and bad fruits; it is halfbaked and misleading, prejudiced and unstable(full of doubts, wavering, and insincerity).
18 And the waste of unrighteousness is the fruit of the seed sown in contempt by those who can't ever seem to make peace [in themselves and with others].
