Jesus loves porn stars.

by Trent - from Oct 29, 2005

  1. Jesus has a bone to pick with religious fakers that bully people to jump through hoops for God.
  2. Jesus is fed up with pious goody-goodies that selectively shame others just to stand in the spot-light of righteous indignation.
  3. Jesus is put-off by the stringent fault-finders in fits about imperfections while perfuming their own death stench.
  4. Jesus is distancing from bogus know-it-alls whose only interest in truth is how the correct answer improves their appearance.
  5. Jesus has low tolerance with pushy arm-twisters, using manipulation to coerce religious bondage.
  6. Jesus is weary of the haughty elitists that elevate themselves on the bruised necks of the easily picked-upon.
  7. Jesus is sickened with the twisted law-enforcers gleeful when someone falls, while too important to lend a hand. (except when someone is watching them.)
  8. Yet, Jesus loves and is compassionate towards all kinds of sinners: porn stars, prostitutes, serial killers, homosexuals, etc..

Seriously, don't Christians tend to portray some sins "more damnable" than others?

My point is that the hypocritical religious bigots deserve the harshest criticism, and Jesus was "all up in their grill." He drew them out and made spectacles of them. He flaunted freedom to expose the pharisees of His day to the light and reveal their prideful elitism based upon empty religious form. It is clear when reading the Gospels that Jesus was not interested in putting up with these people, nor with their toxic religiosity that were driving wedges between God and His people.

Nobody but nobody got worse treatment by Jesus then the religiously pious ... and the religiously pious thought the only thing that they could do to stay in power and in control was to kill Him.

So, if you are not a porn star, and you think Jesus loves you, but not them ... are you not prideful in heart ... a bit of a pharisee yourself?

Paul was a serial murderer. Mary was a prostitute. But, as the love of God through the Lord Jesus was revealed to them, they were broken by that love particularly because of the horror and stigma of their sin in stark contrast to His unconditional love.

Lets be agents of agape to a desperate world.

Nicely put. I always hate hearing people say things like I hope "Osama burns in Hell for what he did." Frankly his sin doesn't put him any farther from God than the guy who jay walks across the street and breaks the law of the land that we are told to obey. Any sin separates us from God, and faith in Christ alone for forgiveness can reconcile any sinner to Him. Good post!

Jacob,

You have it, bro!

Jesus comes to heal the sick, not the well. I am so glad that He came for me, as real sicko ... And, because He loved me first, and forgave me of much, I don't want to leave His side.

You know I once heard Mr.Bush say that he wanted to rid the world of all the evildoers and thats exactley how he said it.There is also a PSALM that says "I will put no wicked thing before thine eyes" Well whatever you do Mr.Bush don't look in the mirror.

caucazhin,

Like you portray Bush, sometimes I find it convenient to lash out against others for the same thing that I am trying to deny about myself.

Perfect...God's love is unconditional and being able to fall on one's face and experience his mercy and forgiveness through his precious Son Jesus everyday is enough to keep one humble in itself. Excellent post!!!

Luke 7:47
Therefore, I tell you, her many sins have been forgiven—for she loved much. But he who has been forgiven little loves little."
